Strengthening Regional Networks for Women Media Professionals and Content Creators

MDH implemented this initiative to strengthen regional collaboration and coordination among women journalists, media professionals, and content creators across Galmudug State.

The project established practical coordination mechanisms and facilitated networking forums where participants could exchange experiences, share professional knowledge, build relationships, and identify opportunities for collective action.

MDH also supported the development of advocacy and communication strategies, a governance and sustainability framework, and partnership arrangements connecting the network with media houses, civil society organizations, and relevant government institutions.

A strategic action plan was developed to guide the network’s continued growth, institutional development, and sustainability beyond the period of direct project support.
